Crown:           medium-course texture, broadly conical changing to broadly ovate
Foliage:          lustrous green glossy  leaves, resembling chestnut leaves

Description:   Conical and dense when young, becoming broad with wide-spreading branches.                           Medium growth rate. Bark becomes deeply ridged with age
Advantages:   great for city conditions, does well in less space than most other oaks.  Rarely has                           any insect or disease problems
